Cocktail: Sweater Weather

Fall is a complicated season here in New England — it flip-flops between warm afternoons and brisk evenings and requires a lot of layers. You spend way too much time deciding what to wear in order to be sure you’ll survive, and get to cocktail hour without having had a chance to decide whether it’s still margarita season or if you have to switch to… I don’t know what people drink in the cold…? Winter margaritas? I’m here to fix this for you, New England. 🥲

My favorite cocktail right now, aptly named Sweater Weather, is made with silver tequila and has almost as many layers as you need to stay warm after dark around here! The six ingredients (which are all easy to find, if you don’t have them already!) come together to create a complicated and surprising drink that is equally sour, sweet, smoky, and smooth. The push-and-pull of sweet pineapple with the bitter Campari® Liqueur is just divine 🔥🍍🧡🍂
