Equipment

  • Cocktail Shaker
  • Muddler

Ingredients

Garden Party Guzzler (for one)

  • 1 2" section of a cucumber, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 2 ounces fresh lime juice (about one lime)
  • 2 ounces silver tequila
  • 2 ounces coconut water

For Garnish:

  • Club soda, coarse sea salt, lime wedge, and cucumber wheel

Instructions

  • Combine the lime juice and cucumber in a shaker and muddle until the cucumber is well mashed.
  • Add the tequila, coconut water, and a lot of ice. Shake for at least 30 seconds.
  • Salt your rim, if desired, and add ice to your glass. Strain your drink into your glass and top off with club soda. Garnish with a lime wedge and cucumber wheel.
  • Guzzle away (responsibly, of course)

Notes

If you don't have coconut water on hand, no worries! You can still make this, simply use more club soda instead. Give it a taste -- depending on what you like, you may want to add more cucumber or lime. That is the best part of this cocktail -- it is very easily adaptable and made with typical kitchen and bar staples. Cheers!
